“To Say “I Do” is to say “Yes” to creating something together.” In this collection, you will find…
…whose stones and focal beads signify the moments and shared passions that brought Christine and her fiance Brian together.
…which strings together a story in stones. Anchored by a gold coin with an octopus personally designed by Christine and then hand-stamped by Rebecca.
…traditionally used in a variety of cultures as a tool for meditation, we honor its origins as a companion piece for mindful living – an essential ingredient for a healthy marriage.
Octopus - Mindfulness. With its eight thinking-arms, the octopus has an ability to see, sense and solve from multiple perspectives. It shows us there is always more than one way to interpret a situation and reminds us to be open-minded, compassionate and determined.
Pearl - Grace. A pearl is a beautiful scar, the result of an oyster healing itself; grit turned to grace. They remind us of the internal, personal work we do to heal so we can show up in healthy ways in our relationships. They remind us that healthy relationships first require the internal, personal work we do to heal.
Skull - Promise. Words are powerful and transformational. Our vows steadfast, promising forever:“Till death do us part.”
Agate - Perseverance. The lines in agate are formed from lava depositing minerals over thousands of years. This stone represents Christine and Brians’s deeply bonding experience climbing the volcano Haleakala together in 2018. It is a reminder that a relationship should never be the mountain but rather, the vehicle that gets you up it.
Labradorite - Curiosity. At first glance, Labradorite appears as a smoky gray stone. Looking closer and from other angles, you’ll discover flashes of brilliant blue and gold light. It’s an unexpected shock, pointing out that when you look a little deeper, a little longer, you may just surprise yourself with what you find–and who you unexpectedly fall in love with.
Amazonite - Exploration. A shared love of diving continues to bring Christine and Brian to the water’s edge. Amazonite, with its rough, tumbled finish captures the energy and colors of the ocean. It has a peaceful vibe that, like diving, promotes a deep sense of wonder and appreciation for our natural world.
Wood - Stability. Trees, with their complex root system, are a symbol of stability, of staying deeply grounded in truth. The wood beads used in these pieces represent a commitment to cultivation, growth and expansion.
Brass - Family. For seven generations, a strand of brass beads have been passed down Christine’s maternal line. The brass used in this collection is a nod to that tradition and the stories that have followed.
Glass - Presence. With a reputation for fragility, glass can actually stand the test of time. Like a marriage, it requires special care. It is a reminder to bring consciousness and presence to every moment because tomorrow is never promised.
Herkimer Diamond - Clarity. The Herkimer Diamond is a double-terminated stone with two fronts that face in different directions. Like individuals bringing their unique perspectives to a union, this stone encourages us to share with clarity and transparency.
